The tradeline brokerage industry is fragmented, opaque, and populated with companies ranging from well-established institutions to outright scams. After 8 years of tracking this market, I have seen dozens of companies launch, pivot, get sued by the FTC, and disappear overnight.
This guide is an honest ranking of 9 companies - including our own. I have scored each on pricing transparency, inventory quality, buyer outcomes, and Reddit community sentiment. No company paid for placement. Our review appears at #4 because that is where we belong.
How We Ranked These Companies
Ranking methodology is based on five weighted factors:
- Inventory quality (30%) - Age of accounts, credit limits, issuer variety, reporting consistency across all three bureaus.
- Pricing transparency (25%) - Whether prices are publicly listed, whether there are hidden fees, whether sellers earn transparent commissions.
- Buyer outcomes (25%) - Based on Reddit community sentiment (r/CRedit, r/selling_tradelines), our customer survey data, and third-party review consistency.
- Trust and safety (15%) - Reporting guarantees, refund policies, escrow practices, legal compliance posture.
- Customer experience (5%) - Website UX, support responsiveness, delivery speed.
Scores are out of 10. A score of 8+ means the company is reliable and worth considering. A score of 7+ means viable with minor caveats. Below 7 means significant trade-offs.

How to Choose the Right Company
No single company is best for everyone. Here is a decision framework:
- Need a specific aged account (10+ years)? → Start with TradelineSupply.com. They have the deepest aged inventory.
- First time buying, nervous about outcomes? → BoostCredit101.com. The refund guarantee reduces risk.
- Want transparent pricing and seller fairness? → GFS Group. Public seller rates mean you know the markup.
- Want tradeline + CPN in one platform? → CPN Makers. We offer both products with transparent delivery.
- Short-term need, 1-month rental preferred? → GFS Group is the only major broker with a 1-month minimum.
- Military-affiliated, want AI-assisted matching? → Priority Tradelines.
- Want to read legal/compliance content before buying? → Superior Tradelines or EZECreditServices.
Red Flags: How to Spot a Scam
The tradeline industry attracts bad actors. Here is what to watch for:
- "Guaranteed 100-point increase." No legitimate company can guarantee a specific point increase. Run from any company making this claim.
- No reporting guarantee. If a company does not explicitly state that the tradeline will report to all three bureaus with a refund remedy if it fails, do not buy.
- Upfront wire transfer to a personal account. Use escrow or platform payment. Never wire money directly to an individual.
- No physical address or phone number. Legitimate companies have a US-based address and a real phone line.
- No refund policy. A clear refund policy is mandatory. If you cannot find it, assume there is none.
- Pressure tactics. "Only 2 left!" urgency is a scam signal. Seasoned tradelines are abundant in this market.
- Selling SSNs or full identities. If a company offers to "build you a CPN" with a new SSN-like number, that is a CPN - a high-risk product that the FTC classifies as a fraudulent identifier. See our legal explainer for more.
The tradeline market has cleaned up significantly since 2020 FTC enforcement actions. The companies in this guide are all legitimate operators. But the red flags above are still worth knowing - the market always attracts new entrants with old scams.
